Field Trip for Finn!
Washington Monument
Known to Finn as the “Washigton Onument”
Finn’s class to their first field trip this past week down to the Washington Monument. It was a big day as they packed their lunches, grabbed the local bus, were able to walk up close to the monument, and had a nice picnic on the National Mall. Kid has a tough life! Finn has been talking about the Monument for a number of weeks after seeing it one day as we were in the car. He has also been learning about all the national monuments so can name and point them out when we see them. He likes to also build tall buildings in an effort to replicate the Monument and the best part is that he can’t quite say “Monument” correctly as he drops the M.
